- Before we can register a new domain for you we will need to make you aware of both our terms and Nominet’s terms and conditions. This will be done by directing you to our website.
- We never register domains for our clients using our company name. Domains are always registered to the entity that is making the request.
- We will endeavour to supply accurate and complete data at all times.
- The registrant must be a legal entity or individual. If they are a Sole Trader then the "trading as" field in the registration form must reflect the company name in full.
- We will advertise our charges for registration and renewal and make this clear to your customers upon sign up. (UK domains are currently £25.00 +vat for 2 years - .com domains are £34.00 plus vat for 2 year)
- We will endeavor to make sure that your contact details are up to date and it is your responsibility to inform us if these have changed.
- Our support hours are. Telephone: 9am - 5pm daily*. Email: 8am - 9pm daily webmaster@youruk.net. No telephone support is available on Bank holidays.
- We will invoice you 2 months before a domain needs to be renewed and one the invoice is paid the domain will be renewed. When payment is not received we will endeavour to contact you by telephone and email and often in writing to establish if the domain is still required.
- We will make you aware when a new domain is registered of our cancellation/termination charges. These are, TAG change - no charge, cancellation of domain - no charge. We will charge for extra work which may include updates to the domain's nameservers or DNS records.
- We will endeavor to help you to benefit from your domain registration either by providing services for you or by providing a registration and domain name management service only so that you can obtain services from third parties.
- We normally respond to communications regarding domain names the same day and all communications will receive a response within 48 hours.
- If you need to make a complaint please email webmaster@youruk.net with details of the issue. You will receive a response within 48 hours. If you feel that the issue has still not been resolved contact Nominet. See Nominet’s Registrar Complaints Procedure for further details.
- If you wish to raise a complaint about abuse you have received (phishing scams, spam emails etc), please contact us at webmaster@youruk.net with as much detail about the abuse as possible and we will investigate your complaint.
